Full Project and Template Management

Logged-in users have access to a comprehensive project and template management system that enables them to design, organize, and maintain their deck projects efficiently. This functionality ensures that users can build their designs progressively, customize layouts, and manage multiple projects with ease.

  1. Create New ProjectsUsers can start a new project from scratch by selecting deck dimensions, materials, and shapes.

  2. Use Existing Templates

    • Users can choose from a collection of predefined templates created by the admin or previously saved by the user.

    • Templates help users quickly start their design process using pre-configured layouts, materials, and product combinations.

    • Templates can be fully customized once loaded into the workspace.

  3. Save Projects

    • Users can save their ongoing work at any point, ensuring no progress is lost.

    • Saved projects are linked to the user’s account and can be accessed anytime from the "My Projects" section.

    • The system supports multiple saved projects per user, making it easier to handle different deck designs simultaneously.

  4. Edit and Update Projects

    • Users can reopen any saved project and make modifications such as changing dimensions, replacing products, or adjusting layouts.

    • Updated projects can be re-saved, maintaining version consistency or optionally saved as a new project.

  5. Delete and Manage Projects

    • Users have the option to delete old or unwanted projects to keep their workspace organized.

    • Deleted projects are permanently removed from the user’s account to ensure clean management.

  6. Reload Projects Anytime

    • Saved projects can be reloaded instantly from the dashboard or project list.

    • This allows users to continue designing from where they left off without needing to rebuild the design.

  7. Template Management

    • Users can convert their completed designs into reusable templates by using the “Save as Template” option.

    • Custom templates can be organized, renamed, and managed under a dedicated “My Templates” section.

    • These templates can later be reused for creating new designs, saving time for frequent design patterns or standard layouts.

  8. Auto-Save and Version Continuity (Optional / Configurable Feature)

    • The system can auto-save design progress periodically to prevent data loss due to browser closure or session timeout.

    • Users can view previously saved versions and restore older states of their design if needed.

  9. Cross-Device Accessibility

  10.

    • Since all projects are stored in the user’s account database, they can access and edit their designs from any device after logging in.

    • This provides flexibility for users who wish to continue their design work across different devices or sessions.
